About OMIK

OMIK Amateur Radio Association, Inc. welcomes anyone interested in Amateur Radio, licensed or not, and the welfare and well-being of others to join us as an OMIK member. OMIK is proud to promote the following concepts and actions as our overarching purpose.

• Fellowship while advancing the art of amateur radio.

• Expand and upgrade the ranks of licensed amateur radio operators.

• Provide public service in club-sponsored activities and initiatives and through public service communications assistance.

• Encourage and motivate youth to further their education beyond high school through the OMIK scholarship fund and other financial assistance.

• Promote and coordinate OMIK-affiliated ham radio clubs.

OMIK Membership

Membership is annual renewing on the last day of your anniversary month. Membership categories as of January 2023 are as follows:

• Regular (amateur radio license required) - $20

• Family membership (up to 3 family members living at the same address) - $25 

• Senior (80 years and above) - $10

• Associate (no amateur radio license) - $15

• Life - (available to existing members only)

How To Join OMIK

Online:  

FCC amateur radio license holders can apply online at HamClubOnline (HCOL) After creating a HCOL account, choose 'Apply for Membership with a HamClubOnline Club' from the HamClubOnline Options menu. Our application code is h5ea8wqm8u9yg.

If you do not hold an active FCC amateur radio license, please apply by mail.

OMIK Lifetime Membership

OMIK limits the number of active Lifetime Memberships. Therefore, existing members wishing to apply for Lifetime Membership must contact the club's secretary first.

OMIK Lifetime Membership Schedule

Lifetime Membership offers an age-based, one-time fee (see chart below) with an option to pay in full or installments over a 2-year period. 

• Through age 59 - $450.00

• Age 60 - $312.00

• Age 61 - $300.00

• Age 62 - $287.00

• Age 63 - $275.00

• Age 64 - $262.50

• Age 65 - $250.00

• Age 66 - $237.50

• 67 and above - $225.00
